Tranco Del Mar
Our self-catering apartments are conveniently located on the edge of
the historic A
rabic
part of Almuñécar, adjoining the main shopping area. They are
exceptionally well appointed, having recently been totally
refurbished and are situated just 70m from the central beach.
We can offer apartments with either double or twin beds. Each
type has a further sofa bed in the living room, so they can all
accommodate up to 2 + 1 adults or 2 adults + 2 children comfortably.
All the apartments are fully equipped for self-catering and comfort
and have modern fitted bathrooms with showers. Additionally they all
have fully fitted kitchens with everything you need for
self-catering, with ceramic hob, microwave, washing-machine and fridge, though there a host of bars and restaurants in the
immediate vicinity all of whom specialise in typical Andalucian
fare. Hot
water is supplied via ecologically sound solar energy, with
air-conditioning also being fitted as standard in all apartments
along with televisions. Each apartment also has a small balcony. One
of the apartments is completely suitable for invalids, with all the
apartments also being serviced by a 6 person elevator.
Board Basis
Self catering. On arrival your apartment will be supplied with a complimentary welcome pack containing all the essentials you will need to get you off to a flying start. Typical contents will include tea, coffee, white & red (Rioja) wines, bread, fruit juice, milk, butter, bacon, eggs etc.
Welcome meeting & tapas, followed by evening meal & drinks in typical Andalucian restaurant on first night. Picnic / Tapas style lunch on all-day rides.
Parking
Self drive clients should note that as these apartments are in the historic old part of town, parking is at a premium due to the narrow streets. However, there is a public underground car park (charge applies) less than 300m away, with free parking (at a premium in peak season) around 300 - 400m away.

Cotobro Apartments
Our self-catering apartments in Cotobro are located slightly
further from the centre of town than our other accommodation and
offer excellent value for money. Cotobro is the beach to the
west of the town towards the marina, which is a very pleasant 30 min
walk along the sea side paseo (promenade) and is a favourite Sunday
morning stroll with the locals, as well as fishermen who fish from
the beach and rocks.
The paseo is totally flat and there are a wide variety of tapas
bars, chiringuitos (beach bars) and restaurants along the way.
The apartments are directly facing Cotobro beach, with lovely sunny
balconies and are an excellent budget pick.
They are fully equipped for self-catering, with modern ovens, hobs, fridge / freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier, heating & air conditioning. They have a modern fitted bathroom, as well as an additional separate shower room. The balconies overlook the beach and have superb views of the sea.

Los Laureles Apartments
A popular choice in our 2007 season, we're glad to welcome
Los
Laureles apartments back as an option. Attached to one of the
best restaurants in town they were originally a riding club and stables, but have
been tastefully renovated and now offer either rooms or studio style
accommodation.
Set in a quiet residential area, just 10 mins stroll into town over Rio Verde, they have ample private parking and a gorgeous pool with views over the town towards the west. The living accommodation is set against the side of a hill so is shielded from the heat of the summer sun, which keeps the rooms nice & cool.
The large sun terrace and swimming pool enjoy the sun all day, with views over Rio Verde towards the old town.
Competitively priced and ideal for clients who may not desire the facilities of a fully featured hotel such as TV lounges and cafeterias .
Rooms and Studios - Facilities
Choice of Rooms for 2px with limited catering facilities or larger
Studios
for 2 - 4px with catering facilities. Both the
Rooms and Studios are well furnished & decorated in typical Andalucian style
and all have modern shower bath rooms en suite. Satellite television
is provided as well.
Rooms. These have either a double or twin bed and sleep 2px (3px with a portable bed suitable for children) with an en-suite bathroom, TV, fridge and terrace. They do not have full self catering cooking facilities (lacking cookers & separate sinks) but are equipped with a large fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and all the basics required such as chopping board & cutlery to to make a light snacks to enjoy on the terrace with a cold drink.
Studios. These are larger than the rooms and have twin beds - one studio can sleep up to 3px (4px with a portable bed suitable for children) the other either 2 or 3px. They are fully equipped with hobs, microwave cooking facilities, fridge / freezer, bathroom, TV and terrace.

self catering basis but breakfast (taken in
the restaurant
or on the patio overlooking the pool) is also included.
