Autumn - Winter - Spring riding holiday itineraries run from Sat 26 Sep 2009 as outside of the mid summer heat we can enjoy
full day rides stopping for picnic lunches with the horses.
Also, with the seasonal decline in sun bathers, the opportunity for
beach rides arises!
Autumn, Winter and Spring riding holidays run until Sat 5 June 2010, when we switch over to our 2010 Summer Riding Holidays timetable.
Horses, Stables & Tack
You will be riding from a choice of our hand picked stables, so will be able to ride the very best of our coastal and countryside trails, all with fantastic views over the glittering blue Mediterranean to seaward and the spectacular white Andalucian villages inland. From our stables on the coast we offer quicker paced riding, as well as lessons and coaching during your holiday. As some of the routes are less hilly, there are usually plenty of opportunities for a canter. Also offered, for the more experienced rider, are beach rides in the quieter months when the beaches are unoccupied.
With access to over 30 fantastic horses, with English, Portuguese or Spanish style riding styles, we will match you to exactly the right mount for your abilities so you get the very best out of your riding holiday here in Andalucia.
Accommodation & Meals
Hotel based clients - The first night we all go out for a welcome meal and drinks in
typical Andalucian restaurant after meeting for drinks & tapas in
beach bar. Breakfasts are taken in the hotel. Inclusive lunches,
on all-day rides, are either picnics or tapas style with the horses.
Hotel Victoria Playa is flexi half-board (you choose each day
whether you want lunch or evening meal).
Evening meals
optional at Hotels Carmen & Arrayanes Playa (details).
Wed is normally free day, where most take the
opportunity to visit the
Alhambra Palace & Generalife in Granada.
Self catering apartments clients - First night welcome drinks & tapas, as well as the evening meal & drinks in restaurant as above. Picnic / tapas style lunches on all-day rides. Full starter pack supplied in apartments (details).

Full days ride from our stables near to La Herradura in
Spanish, Western or English tack, stopping for a picnic
lunch with the horses. |

Today we enjoy a great ride in the natural park - or perhaps head down
onto the beach for a quicker paced ride. Time also to relax on the
beach, or perhaps visit the old town with its cobbled shopping streets |
| Wednesday |
Try one of our optional activities, visit a Spa or just relax by the glittering blue sea. |
| Thursday |
A full days riding in the natural parks, stopping for a tapas lunch with the horses in a typical country restaurant. Or maybe another beach ride... |
| Friday |
Early AM - Local Market visit, then back westwards for a fabulous final ride along the old mule tracks before heading up through the tropical fruit orchards |
| Saturday |
Transfers back to Malaga airport |
